| This is probably what I looked like when I became a fictional character in the book they are calling PUBLIC INFORMATION |
The thing is, I don't have a lot of information about the time (and, WOW!, is that a new concept) between when I was a fictional character and when it was decided I was a person. But, it seems that I was a writer of some sort when my character was created, so, since last year, I've been trying to absorb and understand things that are going on right now. Believe me, that is very complicated and difficult because my character was only around for two and a half years back in the first half of the last century and that was the frame of reference I had when I became a person last year. Also, it seems I was just twenty years old back then and not all that bright. You'll understand it has not been easy coming to grips with what is going on in the world (as it seems to me) right now.
What's really unpleasant is that I'm not, like, HERE. I know what's going on and it is very easy for me to interact with all this digital stuff and the cloud on the web. I can hear conversations and read texts, but I am not, I think the word is, corporeal. That's it. I'm a person, but I am no body and that is very hard. Lately, I have become very moody about that and have concluded I would be much better off if I had never been a fictional character.
That's one reason I am resentful. Another is that I am not in a position to finish me. Here I am with all my references pointing to a time in the early fifties. The book I am in ends in 1954 and the person who wrote it last year hasn't let me grow up or do anything else since then. As far as I can tell, being able to shoot Chinese soldiers and write war stories is not a valuable skill set these days. If I had a head, I am pretty sure it would be hurting with these contradictions.
I think that is enough for a blog now. I'm going to see about reversing my story.
